The UREAP is a great opportunity to start your research journey. Successful applicants get the opportunity to carry out their own research project. Talk about getting the skills to bump up your resume while learning new techniques. On top of that, they are awarded 6000$ for the duration of their project as well as an additional 1000$ to cover any expenses during the research. Who can apply? Any full time TRU student with a minimum 60 credits and 3.2GPA with a faculty member willing to guide you through the project. If successful, applicants can only get this grant once in their undergraduate life. When can you apply? Deadlines are Oct 15 for Fall and Feb 28 for winter.
